About Feeling ICE

The commentary is snarky. The record is not. Feeling ICE catalogs public statements and actions by celebrities and brands opposing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Why this site exists

Illegal immigration is dangerous because you don’t know who is coming into your country. If you don’t know who is coming in, you can’t protect people. Letting millions of unknown people in isn’t sustainable. You have to know who is entering so you can stop the people who mean us harm. Plenty of good people want to come here, and they should, through the legal system. Otherwise we are exposed to people nobody screened, who just show up, and nobody knows who they are.

Methodology

Each entry records the date, type (Statement or Action), a short neutral summary, a verbatim quote where one exists, and at least one link to a published source. Quotes are copied from the source exactly; where we cannot verify wording, we paraphrase and say so. Dates shown as a month (e.g. “Jan 2026”) mean the source did not give an exact day.

Inclusion criteria

Corrections policy

If an entry is wrong, misdated, or missing context, email corrections@feelingice.com with a source. Verified corrections are made promptly and noted on the entry with the date of the change. Subjects may request that a later clarification or retraction be added to their timeline.

Remembered (memorial)

The Remembered page is separate in purpose and tone from the tracker. It lists American citizens killed by people in the U.S. illegally, only where the family has spoken publicly and immigration status is confirmed by a court record, ICE/DHS statement, or consistent major reporting. Case status follows the court record: “convicted” only when a court confirms a conviction for the killing; otherwise “charged” or “pending,” and the presumption of innocence applies. Where a defendant was acquitted (for example, in the Kate Steinle case), we say so plainly. A separate “Fatal crashes” section lists fatal crashes caused by commercial drivers reported to be in the U.S. illegally; there, victims whose names were publicly reported are included even without a public family statement. Memorial photos are added only with permission from the family or rights-holder.

By the Numbers

The By the Numbers page reports official federal statistics (ICE, CBP, U.S. Sentencing Commission, ICE data provided to Congress). Each figure links to its federal source and fiscal year, and the page includes a context note on peer-reviewed research about crime rates.

Tracker profile photos are free-licensed images (public domain or Creative Commons) from Wikimedia Commons, with the photographer and license credited and linked on each profile page. We do not use brand logos; profiles without a suitable free-licensed photo use a generated initials placeholder. Memorial photos are handled separately, as described above.
